Aktivities/ Field days in Stende


In 1996 Stende PB station started with a new tradition - organization of the field days in the first decade in July. There the agriculturists the possibility to acquint with different field trials, to take part in the discession about actual problems in crop production and agriculture management with scientists, practical agriculturists and with representationes of different companies. The main topics are toward to:

seed production,
plant protection,
plant growing technologies,
organic farming.

The central evente is devited to one of the actual problems. About hundred participants take part in these days.
In 2005 the main theme of field days was: "Seed production today and tomorrow in conventional and organic farming".
